Tom Keller, serving in Mongolia

My Vision for Mongolia

This region is comprised of the Hindu, Buddhist, Shamanist, Muslim, and Atheist peoples with history's most aggressive posture against the Gospel.  Less than 5% of the global missionary effort is located there.  Although China is estimated to have over 80 million believers, it suffers from the lack of a good Bible translation, weak doctrine, and poor leadership skills.  This has had a detrimental effect on the spread of the Gospel.

Mongolia is strategically positioned above China. Once one of the most closed countries on earth, it has now begun opening its doors to the gospel.  Many are turning to Christ.

This work is providing all the Biblical teaching and training necessary to reach men, women and children of all ages.  They are leaving the idols of their ancestors to serve the true and living God.  Many have believed, been baptized, and are reaching out to others in their community.

The Gospel Publishing ministry, future Bible institute, youth and family camps are a resource for the entire nation of Mongolia.   By reaching youth, strengthening families, and training national leaders, we hope to advance the cause of Christ and influence the direction of the church in this newly opened field.

As Mongolia is situated at the northern border of most remaining unreached people groups, we are praying and working with other missionaries toward not only saturating Mongolia, but also reaching into the Muslim, Buddhist, Hindu, and Atheist nations with the Gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ.

Our goal, along with church planting, will be to provide the necessary Bible translation, teaching, and leadership skills so vitally needed.
